What to do with ice cream that could be going stale? Make Velvet Hammers. Recipe calls for vanilla ice cream but I have substituted with coffee ice cream recently... WOW. Your guests will sleep oh-so-well after this nightcap.

Velvet Hammer
1 pint vanilla ice cream
1 oz. Creme de Cacao
1 oz. Cointreau or Triple Sec
1 1/2 oz. Brandy

All in blender until smooth. Serve in pretty stemware. Enough for 2 drinks.
